Dawn Ellsworth, D.V.M.

Dr. Ellsworth is a 1995 graduate of U-C Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in the Bay area and in Magalia with her husband, Dr. Kerry Ellsworth. After working at Cordova Veterinary Hospital she came to Rosemont Pet Clinic. She has advanced training in Veterinary Chiropractic therapy, recently completing a 6 month course to become certified.

She enjoys the outdoors with her husband, 2 English Setters, her cat, and two Trachaner horses.

Melissa A, Gates, D.V.M.

Dr. Gates is a 1980 graduate of Louisiana State University. She moved to Sacramento in 1987 when she took over Cordova Veterinary Hospital. In 2002 she purchased Rosemont Pet Clinic, where she fills in for Dr. Ellsworth on her days off.

Kate Beckner, Veterinary Assistant

Kate is originally from Park Forest, Illinois, the middle of 10 children. She moved to California in 1980, and attended Cosumnes River College Veterinary Technician program. Kate started working at Cordova Veterinary Hospital in 1992, and transferred to Rosemont when it was purchased in 2002.

Kate enjoys gardening, reading and crafts. She and Al enjoy travelling and going to visit her three granddaughters. She lives with her husband, Al, and son Geoffrey and three dogs, 23 finches and 2 fish.
